Caregivers
Our Homebased service provides respite care to children aged 0 – 17 years. To provide this service coast wide we require dedicated and caring people to open their homes to provide a nurturing, caring and supportive home environment.
We have a vigorous screening process and offer full support and training. For more information please see our Respite care page.
Wishes in Westport
Wishes in Westport is a fund that has been set up to provide assistance for children and families in need in the Buller area. Donors can donate a one off or regular amount to this fund which is managed by the Operations Manager.

Volunteers
We are always looking for volunteers who want to give back to a community organisation. We have a relatively easy screening process for our volunteers. Some of the tasks we might ask of our volunteers are gardening, keeping our premises tidy, sitting on a raffle table, helping with catering needs and helping with other projects such as Children’s day, Earthworks of Creations Wearable Arts, White Ribbon Day or the Christmas Parade for example.
